Deposit Guarantee Fund paid UAH 50M to depositors of insolvent banks in October

“In October 2021, depositors of insolvent banks received UAH 49.8 million within the guaranteed refund program. In total, in January-October 2021, depositors received UAH 816.2 million within the guaranteed refund program,” reads the report.

As of November 1, 2021, the register of the Fund's members included 70 banks. At the beginning of November 2021, the liquidation of 47 insolvent banks was underway. The liquidation of 51 banks was completed.

The total amount of funds accumulated by the Fund amounted to UAH 16,840.3 million as of November 1, 2021. Revenues from regular fees transferred to the Fund in January-October 2021 came to UAH 4,539.3 million.

As of November 1, 2021, the total sum of guaranteed refunds paid to the depositors of insolvent banks, transferred to the management of the Fund in line with the Law of Ukraine “On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals” (as of February 26, 2012), was UAH 90,947.7 million.
