Belarus says power supplies to Ukraine resumed
Ukrinform
From November 21, Belarus has reportedly resumed electricity supply to Ukraine.
That’s according to the press service of the Belarusian energy ministry, reads the report on its Telegram channel.
"Belarus has resumed electricity supplies to Ukraine from November 21. Exports are pursued under the contract signed in November," the statement said.
At the same time, neither Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry nor Ukrenergo, the operator of Ukraine’s power grid, have confirmed or denied the report at Ukrinform’s enquiry.
As reported, the Ministry of Energy of Belarus last Wednesday said that electricity supplies to Ukraine will be suspended from November 18, in accordance with the established cooperation procedure within contract obligations.
