Share of NPLs in banking sector decreased to 32.7% - NBU

As of November 1, 2021, in the Ukrainian banking sector, the share of non-performing loans (NPL) decreased to 32.7% against 33.3% on October 1, the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) wrote on Telegram.
"As of November 1, the share of non-performing loans (NPLs) in the banking sector fell to 32.7% from 33.3% on October 1," reads the report.
Since the start of the year, the share of NPLs decreased by 8.4 percentage points (UAH 58.2 billion in absolute terms) and took place in banks of all groups.
As Ukrinform reported, in March 2021, the NBU began to publish monthly statistics on the distribution of NPLs granted to enterprises in national and foreign currencies, by size of business entity and type of economic activity.
According to the NBU, the share of NPLs in Ukrainian banks decreased from 48.4% (as of January 1, 2020) to 41% (as of January 1, 2021).
