Ukrzaliznytsia transported a record volume of grain in November

In particular, the transportation of grain cargo for export last month grew by 9.2% to 3.7 million tonnes, imports by 8% to 16,200 tonnes. The transportation of grain cargo in domestic traffic amounted to 256,000 tonnes, transit to 125,000 tonnes.

"We continue our constant work to improve transportation, and I am sure we will set more than one record," said Oleksandr Kamyshin, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia.

In January-November 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 29.8 million tonnes of grain cargo, including 3.3 million tonnes within the country, 25.8 million tonnes for export, 194,300 tonnes for imports, and 488 tonnes for transit.

As reported, in October 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia reported an average daily load of grain cargo at 131,400 tonnes, which is the highest result for the last 10 years.
