Ambassador: Israel's experience of gas production and export is of interest to Ukraine

Ukraine is very interested in Israel's experience of gas production and export, given the issue of energy security of our state.
"In my opinion, the new trend will be the development and study of energy, since not everybody knows that Israel, being a country that purchased oil and gas for many years, now exports gas to Arab countries, in particular, to Egypt and Jordan, extracting its own gas on the continental shelf of the Mediterranean Sea," Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Israel Yevhen Korniychuk said at the Ukrainian Israeli Innovation Summit 2021, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
This experience is very interesting for Ukraine to further promote its energy security, Korniychuk stressed.
As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky plans to make a visit to Israel next year at the invitation of President of Israel Isaac Herzog.
