Zelensky invites Belgian business to Ukraine
“Invited Belgium to join in supporting European aspirations of Ukraine by signing the Declaration. Also invited Belgium investors to participate in infrastructure projects in Ukraine,” Zelensky posted on Twitter on December 15.
The President’s Office informs that the Head of State held a working meeting with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Alexander De Croo.
The President of Ukraine informed the Prime Minister of Belgium about the current security situation in eastern Ukraine and the temporarily occupied Crimea, and expressed gratitude for Belgium's continued support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Zelensky suggested that the Belgian PM should consider the possibility of concluding a bilateral declaration in support of Ukraine’s European prospects.
The parties also praised the positive dynamics of the development of Ukraine–Belgium trade despite the challenges of the global pandemic. Zelensky invited Belgian investors and business circles to take part in infrastructure and other projects in Ukraine.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is on a working visit to Brussels on December 15-16.
