Parliament may introduce defined contribution pension system in early 2022

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may introduce a defined contribution pension system in early 2022 by adopting bill No. 2683 "On Compulsory Defined Contribution Pension System".

"We will consider this bill early next year and introduce a defined contribution pension system that will allow each of us to put money away for retirement," Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said during the summing-up press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, on April 29, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada sent bill No. 2683 "On Compulsory Defined Contribution Pension System" to the relevant committee for preparation for repeated first reading.
