Republic of Korea to continue cooperation with State Space Agency of Ukraine

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine expressed interest in the Ukrainian-Korean cooperation in the field of space exploration and agreed to continue the partnership with the State Space Agency of Ukraine (SSAU).

This was discussed during a meeting between SSAU Head Volodymyr Taftai and the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Kim Hyung-Tae, the press service of the Agency reports.

As noted, the parties exchanged views on the state of affairs, prospects, and priorities of bilateral cooperation in space exploration. The significant potential of cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea on a number of promising space projects was underscored.

Following the meeting, the heads of delegations noted the background for the development of Ukrainian-Korean cooperation in space exploration, expressed interest in its further expansion with new projects and agreed to continue bilateral cooperation in this area.

Earlier, representatives of the State Space Agency of Ukraine and the China National Space Administration held a working meeting and expressed interest in deepening bilateral space cooperation.
