Shmyhal, Morawiecki discuss further gas storage cooperation
"We will focus on bilateral cooperation in counteracting the Nord Stream 2 political project. We also consider that the storage of natural gas by Polish and European companies in the underground gas storage facilities in Ukraine, as well as the creation of technical opportunities for gas imports from Poland, in particular, from LNG terminals located in Poland, are promising," Shmyhal said at a joint press briefing with Morawiecki, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, one of the constant priorities of cooperation between the two countries is infrastructure projects, in particular, in the field of railway transport, road sector, as well as the integration of Ukraine's road infrastructure into the transport corridors of the European Union.
As reported, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki arrived in Kyiv on February 1. This is his first visit to Ukraine at the post of Prime Minister, which he has held since December 2017. Last autumn, the prime ministers of Ukraine and Poland met at the Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland.
