NBU: Imposition of state of emergency will not affect banking system

In the event of the introduction of a state of emergency, the Ukrainian banking system will operate as usual
The press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) made a relevant announcement, Ukrinform reported.
“In the event of the imposition of a state of emergency, the banking system will operate as usual. All payment systems, access to funds, banks in general will continue to operate as usual. The NBU has sufficient reserves to support banks with cash,” the report says.

The central bank’s press service assured that the NBU constantly takes into account the risk of escalation of military aggression.
