Several Kharkiv districts under fire, people asked not to go outside
"At the moment, the shelling of residential areas in Pivnichna Saltivka, the 602nd microdistrict, and the village of Zhukovsky continues in Kharkiv. The Russian military also fires on the KhTZ area – a large fire broke out there, and locals saw a column of black smoke. The region’s civil protection department asks citizens to stay in shelters throughout the day and not to go outside, if air raid siren is not heard," Suspilne media outlet posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
As reported, the shelling of Kharkiv has become more massive over the past three days, its "geography" has expanded. Over the past 24 hours, 53 attacks were launched on the city and some districts of the region, killing seven people.
On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, ballistic missiles, and aviation bombs.
The invaders pursue mass terror in the temporarily occupied territories.
