Ukrinform
Ukraine continues to work towards integrating into the European Union, particularly in the free roaming network and free payment space.

"We are currently working on the integration into the European Union. We are integrated into the electricity network. We continue to cooperate with the European Commission on the integration and joint network of free roaming and free payment space," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said during the submission of the first part of the questionnaire to Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He hopes that Ukraine will receive a proper response on its path towards European integration from the European Commission in the coming weeks.

As reported, on April 8, during her visit to Kyiv, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen officially presented President Zelensky with the EU membership questionnaire, the completion of which is a necessary step in granting Ukraine the EU candidate country status.

On April 18, Zelensky handed over the first part of the completed questionnaire to Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas.
