NBU sold $309M on interbank foreign exchange market over week

Ukrinform reports with reference to data provided by the central bank.

Following foreign exchange interventions, between July 18 and July 24, 2022, the National Bank sold $309.2 million on the interbank foreign exchange market and bought $223.22 million.

Since the start of 2022, the National Bank bought $2.09 billion and EUR 110.97 million and sold $15.008 billion and EUR 1.789 billion.

As reported by Ukrinform, the National Bank sold $1,276 billion and purchased $3.691 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market in 2021. In 2020, the central bank sold $3.891 billion and purchased $4.929 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market in 2020.
