Ukraine’s agricultural exports grow by more than 22% in July 2022
This is said in a report released by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.
"In July 2022, Ukraine exported 2.66 million tonnes of grains, legumes, oilseeds and their by-products products (excluding rapeseeds), which is 492,700 tonnes, or 22.7% more than in the previous month," the report reads.
It is noted that Ukraine’s wheat exports rose by more than three times in July 2022, to about 412,000 tonnes compared to 138,400 tonnes in June 2022.
Ukraine also shipped 183,000 tonnes of barley for export, which exceeds the volume of 26,000 tonnes of this grain crop exported a month earlier.
The actual corn exports rose by 84,700 tonnes in July 2022 from the previous month, and came to 1.1 million tonnes.
Exports of sunflower seeds came to 362,100 tonnes, which is almost 33% less than in June 2022.
The export of soybeans last month amounted to 141,055 tonnes, compared with almost 71,300 tonnes in the previous month.
Ukraine’s soybean oil exports decreased to 15,700, from 18,000 tonnes in June 2022.
The actual sunflower oil exports amounted to 307,000 tonnes in July 2022, which 39,400 tonnes more than in the previous month.
In addition, Ukraine shipped 141,500 tonnes of meal to foreign markets in July 2022, which is 48,300 tonnes more than in June 2022.
