Cargo ship with Ukrainian corn drifts aground in Bosphorus Strait

The Istanbul governor's office and a shipping firm said the 173-meter cargo ship was safely grounded and anchored after a rudder failure.
The ship’s bow was about 150 meters from shore in the Bebek neighborhood. Reportedly, no one was hurt, and Coast Guards were taking necessary safety measures.

Earlier, the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul reported the cargo ship LADY ZEHMA had been allowed to depart from Ukraine’s Chornomorsk Port, carrying 3,000 tonnes of corn to Italy’s Ravenna.
