Ukrainian companies to take part in defense expo in Poland
This was reported to Ukrinform by the organizers of the 30th, anniversary event, which will set a record in terms of the number of participants.
Ukraine will be represented by Telekart-Prylad LLC, State Kyiv Design Bureau Luch, drone manufacturer LLC Ukrspecsystems, and Ukrtac, the body armor and helmet producer.
Press conferences, including those covering Russia’s full-scale aggression toward Ukraine, will be held during the event. The Ukrainian delegation will also include Ukrainian volunteers who have been providing support for the Army. Organizers say the volunteers will have the opportunity to "directly strike purchase deals with manufacturers of military equipment."
The International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce is currently considered the third most important defense expo in Europe, after those in Paris and London. This year's event will be attended by more than 600 participants from over 30 countries, which is 50% more than last year. The exhibition will see participants from the USA, Germany, Israel, Sweden, Great Britain, Norway, the Netherlands, Finland, Korea, Estonia, Italy, and Turkey.
Turkey will be MSPO 2022’s special partner, preparing a national exhibition. Twenty-seven Turkish defense companies will take part, including the Bayraktar drone manufacturer.
U.S. will also have a major presence at the event, showcasing M142 HIMARS missile launchers, which have earned high praise in Ukraine, as well as Abrams M1A2 tanks, CH-47 Chinook, Black Hawk and AH-4 Apache helicopters, and many other equipment models. Raytheon, one of the world's largest defense companies, will present their latest munitions models: Excalibur guided artillery missiles, Javelin anti-tank missiles with LWCLU guidance kit, and SkyCeptor missiles.
The event kicks off on September 10.
