NBU sells $227.6M on interbank foreign exchange market

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has sold USD 227.59 million on the interbank foreign exchange market over the past week.
The relevant data were posted on the NBU’s website, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, following the foreign exchange interventions, between October 24, 2022 and October 28, 2022, the NBU sold USD 227.59 million on the interbank foreign exchange market and acquired USD 13.5 million.
In general, since the beginning of 2022, the NBU has sold USD 21.508 billion and EUR 1.789 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market, and bought USD 3.162 billion and EUR 110.97 million.
A reminder that the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) bought USD 3.691 billion and sold USD 1.276 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market in 2021.
