Ukraine’s Cabinet dismissies Naftogaz Board Chairman Vitrenko

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Yury Vitrenko from the position of chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Naftogaz press service, according to Ukrinform.
"By its decision of November 1, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the resignation of Naftogaz of Ukraine Chairman of the Board, Yuriy Vitrenko. Yuriy Vitrenko will continue to hold the position of head of the national company until November 3, 2022, inclusive.
Vitrenko took the helm of Naftogaz in April 2021. Initially, the Cabinet appointed him for 12 months, and in April 2022, the government extended Vitrenko's mandate for another year.
As reported, in 2021 the net profit of Naftogaz Group amounted to UAH 12.1 billion, while in 2020, the group saw a loss of over UAH 19 billion.
