Ukraine, Austria sign memorandum on cooperation in area of digitization
That's according to Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrinform reports, citing the ministry's press service.
"In this extremely difficult time for Ukraine, we are grateful to Austria for its support. The signed memorandum will make it possible to strengthen cooperation and exchange experience in building a digital state. Austria is developing one-stop shops for public services - Digitales Amt [app]. Like Ukraine, they started with a digital driver's license, and we can already share our achievements in this area," Fedorov said.
During the signing of the document, both parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of digital transformation and the exchange of experience in the areas of access to high-speed internet, e-government, digital startups, as well as the needs of the telecoms sphere.
Austria expressed its readiness to provide assistance in the near future to support Ukrainian servers and digital infrastructure, which includes a batch of generators. Both parties will also continue to work on providing Ukraine with Starlink satellite communication terminals.
