Ukraine, United Kingdom intend to expand energy cooperation

Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and Rolls-Royce SMR CEO Tom Samson have discussed the supply of high-technology energy equipment to Ukraine and the prospects of using small modular reactors (SMR).
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Economy Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Russia cannot defeat Ukraine on the battlefield and, thus, resorts to outright terrorist actions, destroying Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Now we need help to restore energy supply, so that Ukrainians are not left without heat and electricity in winter. Therefore, Ukraine is now interested in the supply of high-technology energy equipment,” Svyrydenko said, adding that, after Ukraine's victory, they will discuss the supply of small modular reactors (SMR).
Samson promised to help Ukraine with the delivery of relevant equipment.
