Ukraine has provided itself with foodstuffs for 2023 – PM Shmyhal
"We will continue to support the agricultural sector, which has also shown incredible resilience. We allocated a total of UAH 80 billion to 38,000 of our farmers during these months of war. We helped to carry out the most difficult sowing in the history of Ukraine on time. Thanks to this, more than 60 million tonnes of crops have been harvested. And Ukraine has definitely provided itself with foodstuffs for the next year," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
In addition, due to the “grain initiative”, 15 million tonnes of products were exported. In particular, more than 10 million tonnes were exported through the Danube ports.
As reported by Ukrinform, on December 30, the Cabinet of Ministers held the last regular meeting this year.
