Ukraine's international reserves reach $28.5B — NBU

Ukraine's international reserves grew by 1.9% in December 2022 and amounted to $28.5 billion on January 1, 2023.

That's according to the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), Ukrinform reports.

"According to preliminary data, Ukraine's international reserves as of January 1, 2023, amounted to $28.5 billion ($28.491 billion). In December, they increased by 1.9% compared to November 2022 thanks to foreign currency inflows from international partners, which exceeded the NBU's interventions on the sale of currency to maintain a fixed exchange rate," the report reads.

Ukraine's international reserves increased by 10.7% in November 2022, to $27.95 billion.
