Zelensky enacts NSDC decision on energy security

According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 18/2023, has been published on the website of the head of state.

"In accordance with Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decree to put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated January 13, 2023 'Regarding the state of implementation of the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on energy security and urgent measures to ensure the operation of the national economy during the 2022/23 autumn and winter period amid a special period," the decree reads.

The NSDC secretary has been tasked with overseeing the implementation of the decision. The decree enters into force from the day of its publication.

Earlier, the president put into effect the NSDC decision on the introduction of economic sanctions against Royal Pay Europe Ltd. with a legal address in Latvia.
