Ukraine's gas producer Ukrgasvydobuvannya has received equipment from EQT Corporation, a leading U.S. natural gas producer, for the restoration of the damaged oil and gas production infrastructure.

According to Ukrinform, the company said this in a post on Facebook.

It said EQT Corporation had become the first U.S. company to provide production equipment for gas extraction in Ukraine. The equipment will be used to restore the damaged oil and gas production infrastructure, as well as to maintain the stability of production processes in wartime conditions.

"The full-scale has caused damage to or complete destruction of dozens of production facilities of Ukrgasvydobuvannya. At the same time, it has repeatedly complicated the supply of the necessary equipment and materials for gas production. Some types of equipment require special manufacturing and are not available on the Ukrainian market. Therefore, we are extremely thankful to our Western partners who help us overcome these difficulties. We will restore damaged objects faster and more of them and will implement the necessary production projects, which means additional gas for the country," said Oleg Tolmachev, acting Director General of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
