Korea sends excavators to help restore Ukrainian energy infrastructure
"The Republic of Korea sent Ukraine four excavators as part of humanitarian aid. This equipment will allow speeding up the repair works for the restoration of the energy infrastructure," the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports.
The Ministry notes that Ukraine received 10 batches of humanitarian aid with a total weight of 114.3 tonnes with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea over the past three months. Korean partners handed over generators and excavators to strengthen Ukraine’s energy sector.
As reported, Ukraine will soon receive the first batch of 5,700 solar panels to ensure electricity supply to critical infrastructure amid Russian missile attacks. Solar panels from ENEL Italian company will arrive in Ukraine with the logistical support of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism and the Energy Community.
