Ukraine resumes electricity exports to Poland

Ukraine's energy system had a sufficient reserve of capacity as of April 12, so electricity is being exported to Moldova and, from today, to Poland.

Ukraine's National Power Company Ukrenergo said this in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As of April 12, electricity production fully meets the needs of consumers. There is a sufficient reserve of capacity. Due to this, it is possible to export electricity to Moldova (30-95 MW at different hours) and, from today, to Poland (up to 75 MW at different hours)," the report reads.

According to the report, the key priority for Ukrenergo is the restoration of reliable power supply. To do this, repair crews are carrying out restoration work on all high-voltage network facilities that were hit by Russian attacks.

"Since the attack on March 9, five trunk lines have been restored and the equipment of nine substations of various voltage classes has been partially restored. Restoration work is ongoing," the company added.

In the last day, electricity supply was restored to 14,000 households in the Donetsk region.
