Over the past week, DTEK power engineers have restored electricity supply to almost 50,000 families in Donetsk and Dnipro regions.
According to Ukrinform, DTEK reported this on Telegram.
"Last week, our specialists continued to repair the equipment damaged by Russian occupiers and restored electricity supply in 79 settlements of Donetsk and Dnipro regions. Almost 50,000 families have electricity again," the statement reads.
It is noted that Russian shelling in Donetsk and Dnipro regions does not stop, so DTEK continues to work closely with Ukraine's Armed Forces to eliminate the consequences of the attacks as soon as possible.
As reported, as of April 17, the power system is operating with a capacity reserve. Electricity is being exported to Poland, Moldova, and, as of today, Slovakia.
