Russia is breaking its promises to countries around the world that are dependent on Ukrainian-produced grain.

The relevant statement was made by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken at a news conference, following the Group of Seven (G7) foreign ministers meeting in Japan, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to Reuters.

“Russia is breaking its promises to countries around the world that are dependent on grain that has not been able to get out of Ukraine over the last few days, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Tuesday,” the report states.

A reminder that, on April 17, 2023, Russia for the second time blocked the inspections of vessels, sailing via the ‘grain corridor’, in Türkiye’s territorial waters.

According to High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, about 50 ships with Ukrainian grain were again blocked by Russia in the Black Sea.
