Ukraine, Bulgaria agree unblocking, unloading at border trucks carrying agrigoods
This was reported by the Ukrainian Cabinet press service, Ukrinform saw.
"There was a meeting of two ministers: Mykola Solskyi of Ukraine’s Agrarian Policy and Food and Yavor Hecheva of Bulgaria’s Agriculture.
The parties discussed the current situation, agreed to wait for the decision of the European Commission and then continue negotiations. Also, the ministers agreed to unblock trucks at the border and unload them," the statement reads.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Bulgarian government on Wednesday, April 19, introduced a temporary ban on the import of food products from Ukraine, with the exception of transit goods.
Currently, Ukraine is negotiating with Bulgaria regarding the prospects for a positive solution to the grain issue.
