Shmyhal on conference in Rome: There is interest in implementation of reconstruction projects
"Ukraine will be a member of the EU, and this is one of the arguments why Italian businesses should invest in Ukraine today. I emphasized this during the reconstruction conference in Rome. The speeches of Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as the participation of hundreds of Italian and Ukrainian companies, businesses, and associations in the event, are a signal that we have a common interest in the implementation of reconstruction projects," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal posted on Telegram after taking part in the conference on Ukraine's reconstruction in Rome, Ukrinform reports.
Shmyhal invited Italian companies to invest in Ukraine and already implement reconstruction projects. After all, those who invest in Ukraine now will get the best opportunities and prospects during the implementation of the Great Recovery Plan, he emphasized.
As reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal makes a visit to Rome. He took part in a bilateral conference on the restoration of Ukraine, held meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of Italy. Meetings with the defense minister and the heads of chambers of the Italian Parliament are also scheduled. Pope Francis is expected to receive Shmyhal on April 27.
