The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine disbursed an additional UAH 3.1 billion for the communities of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

"An additional UAH 3.1 billion is disbursed as a subsidy to local budgets. These are funds for the communities of Donetsk region, Luhansk region, Kherson region, and Zaporizhzhia region. We strengthen their capacity and help to mobilize resources for reconstruction," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal posted on Facebook, summing up the results of this past week.

He added that this week the electronic queue for military medical examination commissions started working in test mode for Kharkiv, Lviv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa cities. Military personnel will sign up in advance and will not waste time waiting in front of doctors' offices. The Parliament also adopted government draft laws on electronic document flow between a military unit and territorial recruitment centers and on the creation of military medical examination commissions at state and municipal healthcare institutions.

Also this week, the Government adopted changes to grant the status of a person with a disability received as a result of the war to Ukrainian civilians who were injured after February 24, 2022. Medical and social expert commissions will be able to establish a connection between disability and combat operations during full-scale Russian aggression.

Shmyhal added that the modernized interstate power transmission line between Ukraine and Poland became operational this week. This will significantly strengthen the connection between the Ukrainian and European energy systems, increase Ukraine's export-import capabilities, and enhance the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in wartime conditions.

The Prime Minister noted that the eLine electronic system will be launched at 16 border crossing points in the western direction. It will be available for truck drivers from next week, for bus drivers from July, and for car owners from August. eLine will save time for drivers, optimize business processes, and organize traffic flows.

In addition, Shmyhal made a working visit to London this week and met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, and Defense Secretary Ben Wallace. The main issues discussed were the upcoming recovery conference, strengthening security assistance to Ukraine, and mastering NATO standards.

The Prime Minister also spoke with Ukrainian military personnel who undergo training in Britain. Almost 15,000 Ukrainian defenders have already been trained there.

In addition, Shmyhal made a joint representation with First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. "It is a great honor to represent the heroic Ukrainian people during a landmark event," the Prime Minister emphasized.
