Ukraine can become Europe’s "power bank" - Chernyshov

According to Ukrinform, the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov, posted this on Facebook.

"Ukraine can become a 'power bank' of Europe, one of the key elements of its energy security. We have a lot to offer: gas from our own fields, underground storage facilities for storing strategic reserves of European countries, facilities for the production and transportation of biogas and green hydrogen," Chernyshov said.

In his words, Russia thought that without its energy carriers, the continent would weaken, but the Ukrainian "power bank" will make it even stronger.

As reported, Naftogaz of Ukraine expects to strengthen cooperation with European partners on gas storage in underground gas storage facilities and gas production.
