eVіdnovlennya: Over 10,000 Ukrainians submit applications for assistance
The press service of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine has announced this information on their official Facebook page, reported by Ukrinform.
"During the first week of the eVіdnovlennya program, 10,440 applications for assistance payments have been submitted for the restoration of damaged housing," the statement reads.
It is noted that over 56% of the applications are related to assistance for the restoration of apartments, 43.4% for private houses, and less than 1% for other residential premises. The highest number of applications was submitted by residents of the Kharkiv (3554 applications), Kyiv (2852), Mykolaiv (870), Donetsk (688), and Kherson (649) regions.
Further, the commissions, which will be established within the local self-government bodies, will process the applications and initiate direct inspections of the housing. As of May 17th, a total of 108 such commissions have already been established.
Citizens whose homes have been damaged can submit applications for assistance through the "Diia" mobile application. Prior to that, they need to submit an informational notification about the damaged property through "Diia," a notary, or the Centers for Administrative Services (CNAP) if such a notification has not been submitted yet.
As reported earlier, on April 21st, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for providing state aid for the repair of damaged housing. It includes providing assistance to citizens whose homes have been damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. This assistance will be provided for current repairs of housing. This can be done through the electronic service called "eVіdnovlennya," which was launched on May 10th.
Starting from May 10, 2023, all citizens whose homes have suffered minor damage as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and have not yet been repaired can avail themselves of the service. This primarily includes the replacement of windows or doors, roof repairs, and similar repairs.
