Ukraine receives $19.8B in international aid this year

Ukraine has received $19.79 billion in financial aid from international partners this year.

That’s according to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, as of June 1, Ukraine received assistance from the United States ($6 billion), the EU ($8.12 billion), the IMF ($2.7 billion), Canada ($1.76 billion), and the World Bank ($547 million).

Since the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received $32.14 billion from international partners.

Since the start of 2023, the total volume of financing has reached $26.5 billion, or UAH 970.3 billion in equivalent.

In addition to external international aid, this amount includes funds raised from the placement of domestic government loan bonds in the amount of $6.74 billion, or UAH 246,547 million.

As reported, Ukraine expects to receive $42 billion in financial assistance in 2023, including $4.6 billion from the International Monetary Fund.
