This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy, Ukrinform saw.
"After the enemy shelling of the country's territory involving missiles and drones last night, no damage to the energy infrastructure was recorded. In the country's south, work is ongoing to tackle the consequences of the flood, caused by the blowing up of the Kakhovka HPP by the invaders," the statement says.
It is noted that in the Mykolaiv region, five settlements are in blackout due to high water, and five were partially de-energized. In Kherson, more than 14,000 consumers remain without power; in the de-occupied part of the region, six settlements have been cut off from electricity due to flooding. Power engineers are working to restore power supply there.
The supply was restored to 180 households in Kherson and more than 700 - in Mykolaiv region. In addition, repair crews began restoration work on the pumping station of the Kherson thermal power station, which had been flooded.
At the same time, the occupiers continue to terrorize Kherson, as well as other front-line zones and territories bordering Russia. Due to shelling, there are blackouts in Kherson, Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. As a result of technological breaches, electricity consumers in Odesa and Kirovohrad regions were cut off.
As reported, the country's energy system will receive an additional 1,000 MW of power thanks to the commissioning of a power unit at one of the Ukrainian nuclear power plants after scheduled repairs.
