Ukraine exports 47.5M t of grains, pulses
According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported this.
It is noted that in 2022/2023 MY, as of June 16, 2023, Ukraine exported 16.314 million tonnes of wheat, 2.667 million tonnes of barley, 18,000 tonnes of rye, and 28.185 million tonnes of corn. For comparison, from July 2021 to June 17, 2022, Ukraine exported 47.794 million tonnes of grains and pulses, including 18.646 million tonnes of wheat, 5.737 million tonnes of barley, 161,500 tonnes of rye, and 22.94 million tonnes of corn.
During the 15 days of June, Ukraine exported 2.153 million tonnes of grains and legumes (695,000 tonnes during the 17 days of June last year), including 816,000 tonnes of wheat (48,000 tonnes in June last year), 20,000 tonnes of barley (21,000 tonnes in June 2022), and 1.314 million tonnes of corn (623,000 tonnes in June 2022). In June this year and in June last year, Ukraine did not export rye.
Since the start of 2022/2023 MY, Ukraine has exported 147,300 tonnes of flour (in 2021/2022 MY, 69,600 tonnes).
As Ukrinform reported, according to Ukrainian Agrarian Council, by the end of the current season, Ukraine will have 10 million tonnes of carryover grain from previous seasons for export.
