Ukraine not to face fuel shortage - PM
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this on the air of the United News telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Today, there is no fuel shortage in Europe or Ukraine. According to forecasts, there will be no shortage either. Thus, we expect a calm situation in the fuel market," Shmyhal said.
According to him, this issue was discussed at a meeting of the Ministry of Economy with representatives of key networks selling diesel and gasoline.
"Therefore, we see a calm market situation with normal supply and sale of diesel and gasoline. We do not expect a shortage," the Prime Minister added.
As reported, Ukraine experienced a shortage of fuel materials in the spring of 2022. The government negotiated with the world's largest companies to supply gasoline and diesel to the country.
