In Zaporizhzhia, the water level in the lower reservoir is two meters and four centimeters below the permissible level as a result of the Russian occupiers' blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military District Administration, said this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"The water level in the lower pool is 12.46 meters, which is 2.04 meters lower than normal," the post reads.
The water level in the cooling pond at Zaporizhzhia NPP is within the permissible limits.
Drinking water quality tests show no deviations from the standards.
As reported, in Zaporizhzhia, the water moved away from the shore by several meters and exposed garbage that had been lying on the bottom of the Dnipro for years. Volunteers, eco-activists, and concerned citizens organized a cleanup.
