Shmyhal announces launch of program to support industrial parks this year

A program to support industrial parks will be launched in Ukraine this year.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this during a panel discussion dedicated to the anniversary of the 'Own Business' grant program, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Literally this year, the program to support industrial parks will start working, the legislation on investment is already in a real format through financial support from the state, as well as through the benefits for those who work in industrial parks and those who invest in projects," Shmyhal said.

As reported, in early February 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the strategy for the development of industrial parks for 2023-2030, which will contribute to the formation of an attractive investment environment and sustainable development of the national economy.

The document was developed to identify areas and ways to ensure the development of industrial parks in Ukraine, thus contributing to the formation of an attractive investment environment, sustainable development of the national economy and its decarbonization.
