Gov't extends e-queue for cars, buses
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting, Ukrinform reports.
"The first (decision - ed.) concerns our priority project Euroborder. We are building a new logistics system and have already launched an e-queue for trucks. Today, we are approving a resolution that extends the e-queue to cars and buses that carry out passenger transportation. This will help reduce queues at the border and make it more comfortable," Shmyhal stated.
According to him, the pilot project for buses will begin in August.
As reported, in December 2022, an electronic border crossing queue was launched as part of a pilot project at the Yahodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint. In May, the e-queue was fully operational at all 16 international automobile checkpoints.
