A Ukrainian government team headed by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has coordinated steps in implementing changes and reforms as part of the EU's Ukraine Facility program.

The head of government said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Together with the government team, we coordinated our steps in implementing changes and reforms as part of the European Union's Ukraine Facility program, which provides for financing in the amount of 50 billion euros over the next four years," Shmyhal said.

Among the key areas of work on which the government is focused, he named the strengthening of defense and security, digitalization, integration into European markets, new approaches in veteran and social policy, human capital development, and energy independence.

According to Shmyhal, safety, energy efficiency, and an environmentally friendly and barrier-free environment are central to the modernization of the country. These parameters will become mandatory during the restoration of Ukraine and during the implementation of all future projects, he said.

"All these changes move us forward and bring us closer to our strategic goals: Ukraine's victory, joining the European Union and NATO," he said.
