€103M frozen in Lithuania due to sanctions against Russia, Belarus

The sanctions were imposed on 16 legal entities and individuals. These are nine companies from Russia, as well as six legal entities and one individual from Belarus. The total amount of funds frozen on the accounts of the Russian companies is over €69.51 million and $810,000. The accounts of Belarusian companies and individuals have been frozen in the total amount of €23.71 million and $7.68 million, respectively.

Funds attempted to be transferred to Lithuania by persons subject to EU restrictive measures were also blocked. The amount of such funds in different currencies is over €1.33 million, over $1.583 million, and over 215,000 rubles.

As Ukrinform reported, as of the end of 2022, FNTT froze €77.9 million of Russian assets and $9.5 million of Belarusian assets in Lithuania.
