Lithuania allocates EUR 800,000 for two projects to support Ukraine
That's according to Lithuania's national broadcaster LRT, Ukrinform reports.
The project, entitled "School of the Future in Ukraine," is to be prepared within 20 months.
Another project, which involves strengthening the administrative potential of Ukraine's State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development, will receive a EUR 300,000 grant. The government's protocol decision states that the project is to be implemented within nine months.
Lithuanian ministers also discussed humanitarian projects, which have already been implemented, including the construction of a mobile residential camp for 36 families in Borodianka and the renovation of the Ruta nursery in Irpin. Both facilities are located on the outskirts of Kyiv.
Lithuania is also completing the renovation of a school in Borodianka, which is scheduled to be opened in October. The country has also prepared an upgraded model for the electricity distribution network of an energy company in Ukraine, Mykolaivoblenergo.
Lithuania started reconstruction works in Ukraine in the autumn of 2022.
