H&M resumes operations in Ukraine

The Swedish company H&M has announced that it plans to gradually reopen most of its stores in Ukraine starting in November this year.

The company stated it, Ukrinform reports.

As previously reported, H&M Group has temporarily closed its stores in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. The company is in close dialogue with its partners and the authorities and now plans to gradually reopen most of its stores in the country from November 2023, the statement said.

The company noted that it plans to participate in relief and recovery programs, cooperate with local organizations and support Ukraine in the recovery process.

As H&M Group continues to monitor the developments in the country, preparations are underway to reopen most H&M stores where possible. The safety of colleagues and customers will always come first, the statement said.

The brand's first store in Ukraine was opened in 2018.
