In Chernihiv region, number of entrepreneurs exceeds pre-war level
That’s according to Svitlana Poltoratska, Deputy Director of Economic Development at the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, who spoke at a briefing, Ukrinform reports referring to Suspilnhiy Korespondent.
"This phenomenon can be explained by the simplification of taxation and the procedure for registering and shutting down individual entrepreneurships, and most importantly, by the wide opportunities for receiving grants under government-run and international aid programs," said Svitlana Poltoratska.
According to the official, thanks to government grant programs within the framework of the eRobota project, businesses across the region received financial assistance in the amount of almost UAH 216 million.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Latvia will provide aid to Chernihiv region in the amount of EUR 5 million over next year.
