Polish farmers renew cargo traffic blockade at Rava-Ruska - Hrebenne checkpoint on Ukraine border
This was reported to an Ukrinform correspondent by the Ukrainian border guards’ press service.
"From 11:00 on June 4, Polish farmers blocked the cargo zone at the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne checkpoint. Therefore, we expect complete stoppage of truck movement," the press service said.
The blockade is expected to last until Thursday afternoon.
As reported earlier, referring to the State Customs Service, the Polish side will allow into Ukraine no more than 24 trucks per day (two intervals, 12 vehicles in each) and up to four trucks carrying humanitarian cargo. Crossing of the remaining categories of vehicles in both directions will not be interrupted.
As reported, the Polish-Ukrainian border had been blocked by carriers since November last year, and by Polish farmers – since February this year.
On April 29, Polish farmers finally called off the border blockade.
