Ukrgasvydobuvannya receives 102 diesel generators from USAID

The company's press service said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

" Ukrgasvydobuvannya received 102 diesel generators from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The purchase was made through the USAID Energy Security Project (USAID ESP)," the post reads.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya's production divisions use generators as emergency stationary power sources to provide electricity to production facilities and repair bases, as well as administrative buildings.

In addition, such equipment can also be used as mobile power sources for field crews to maintain, repair and build Ukrgasvydobuvannya facilities.

Earlier reports said that the EU plans to deliver an additional 1,000 generators to Ukraine for emergency energy production.
