Ukraine budget’s general fund expenditures stand at UAH 1.26 trillion over five months

In January - May 2024, the total amount of cash expenditures of the national budget’s general fund amounted to UAH 1,257.9 billion, with UAH 311.6 billion spent in May alone.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance, Ukrinform saw.
As for the structure of expenditures, UAH 494 billion was allocated for job payments with accruals, UAH 204 billion – for goods and services, UAH 236.6 billion – for social security, UAH 101.7 billion – for servicing the national debt, and UAH 65.3 billion – for local budgets.
As reported, in 2023, security and defense expenditures of the national budget’s general fund amounted to UAH 1,843.8 billion.
