Naftogaz Group pays UAH 37.7B in taxes in Jan-May

The Naftogaz Group paid UAH 37.7 billion in taxes to the state and local budgets in the first five months of 2024.
That's according to the Group's press service, Ukrinform reports.
"Since the beginning of the year, the Naftogaz Group has paid UAH 37.7 billion in taxes. Of this amount, UAH 35 billion has been transferred to the state budget and UAH 2.7 billion has been paid to local budgets," the report said.
In May 2024, the state budget received UAH 8.8 billion, or 8% of all tax revenues. UAH 500 million was transferred to local budgets.
Ukraine's state-owned energy company Naftogaz paid more than UAH 90.2 billion in taxes in 2023 and more than UAH 90 billion in 2022.
