Ukraine wants to create two lists for critical infrastructure - for summer and winter seasons
The head of the Inspectorate, Ruslan Slobodian, said this on Suspilne TV, Ukrinform reports, citing the State Energy Supervision Agency.
"Currently, the process of updating the list of critical infrastructure facilities with guaranteed electricity supply is taking place in each region. This is a rather painstaking work that requires an analysis of the power supply conditions of hundreds of consumers. We expect that this process will be completed by July 1," Slobodian said.
According to him, dozens have already been excluded from the list, and in some regions – more than a hundred consumers. In addition, it is proposed to divide the list of critical infrastructure facilities with guaranteed electricity supply by season – summer and winter.
"Now the list includes, among other things, facilities that are extremely important during the heating season, but do not work in the summer. Therefore, now it is advisable to exclude them from the list, and with the onset of cold weather, return them to it," Slobodian explained.
In addition, where it is not possible to power facilities to different power lines, the possibility of manual switching in the case of outage schedules is considered.
As reported, since June 8, a new procedure for applying hourly outage schedules has been operating in test mode.
